Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit	Minimum Age: 21 years Maximum Age: 28 years (i.e., candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.12.1997 and not later than 01.12.2004). Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection process for this apprenticeship is unique as it is entirely merit-based and does not involve any written examination or interview. The Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) is entrusted with the shortlisting process.

1. Shortlisting Based on Merit: The shortlisting of candidates will be carried out based on the percentage of marks (up to two decimal places) secured in the qualifying Graduate Degree Examination. This is subject to the candidate fulfilling all other prescribed eligibility criteria.
2. Tie-Breaker Rule: In cases where two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks, their position in the merit list will be determined according to their date of birth, with the older candidate being placed higher in the order of merit.
