Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection will be conducted in two stages: a Computer Based Test (CBT) and a Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined score.

How to Prepare for the WBSEDCL Exam
Success in the WBSEDCL exam requires a strategic approach. Here are some important preparation tips:
- Focus on Domain Knowledge: 50 out of 85 marks (nearly 60% of the CBT) will be from your core subject (Electrical Engineering or HR/Finance). Therefore, thoroughly revise your diploma/degree notes and fundamental concepts. For JE (Electrical), focus on subjects like Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Network Theory, and Measurements. For AM, focus on your MBA/CA/CMA curriculum.
