Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process for all posts is mainly divided into three stages: Preliminary Examination, Skill Test, and Main Examination (if applicable).

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (OMR Based)

This will be conducted for all posts. It will be an OMR-based multiple-choice objective test.

Detailed Syllabus

1. General Studies: Questions will be asked related to Bihar, India, and its neighboring countries. Topics include Current Affairs, Scientific Progress, National/International Awards, Sports, History of India and Bihar, Culture, Geography, Economic Scenario, Agriculture, Constitution of India, Political System, Panchayati Raj, and Five-Year Plans.

2. General Science & Mathematics:
Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology of Matriculation standard.
Mathematics: Number system, Computation of whole numbers, Decimals and fractions, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Interest, and Profit & Loss.

3. Mental Ability (Reasoning): Analogy, Similarities and Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Arithmetical number series, and Coding-decoding.
