Selection Process
The selection for the post of Junior Stenographer will be a two-stage process, consisting of a competitive written examination and a proficiency (skill) test.
- Competitive Written Examination:
- The exam may be OMR-based or a Computer Based Test (CBT). It will consist of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions.
- The question paper will have a total of 200 questions, and the total duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

- Proficiency Test in Stenography (Qualifying):

- General Intelligence & Reasoning: This section will include questions on verbal and non-verbal reasoning. Topics include analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, number series, non-verbal series, and classification.
- General Awareness: Questions will be designed to test the candidate's general awareness of the environment around them and its application to society.
