Honorarium & Engagement Period
- Honorarium: The selected candidate will be paid ₹1,500/- per lecture.
- Monthly Cap: The maximum honorarium per month will be ₹50,000/-.
- Engagement Period: One year (excluding long vacations) or until the permanent post is filled, whichever is earlier.
Eligibility Criteria
The qualifications required for this post are the same as those for a regular Assistant Professor as prescribed by the UGC and Visva-Bharati.
Required Qualification
- A Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in French with a minimum of 55% marks (with applicable relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the subject of French.
Desirable Qualification
- A Ph.D. degree in French.
- Specialization in at least one of the following areas:
- French as a Foreign Language
- Translation Studies
- Literary & Culture Studies
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted as per the rules of Visva-Bharati.
