Selection Process

The selection is a three-stage competitive examination process.

  1. Preliminary Examination: An objective-type (MCQ) exam consisting of two papers. This is a screening test, and its marks are not counted for the final merit list.
  2. Main Examination: A descriptive written examination consisting of six papers. Candidates shortlisted from the prelims (approx. 15 times the vacancies) will appear for this exam.
  3. Interview: Candidates who qualify in the Main exam (approx. 2.5 times the vacancies) will be called for a personal interview, which is for 100 marks. There is no minimum qualifying mark in the interview.
  4. Final Merit List: The final selection will be based on the total marks obtained in the Main (Written) Examination and the Interview.

  • Paper-I (General Hindi & English): 100 Marks, 3 Hours. (Qualifying nature, min 30 marks required).
