Vacancy and Pay Scale Details

The number of vacancies is not specified and will be filled based on the requirements of the IAF. Selected candidates will be offered an attractive pay and allowances package.

During Training A stipend of ₹14,600/- per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions regarding education, age, and marital status.

Educational Qualification A candidate must have one of the following qualifications:
  1. Option A (10+2): Passed 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
    OR
  2. Option B (Pharmacy): Passed a Diploma or B.Sc. in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Must also have a minimum of 50% marks in English in Diploma, or in 12th/10th if English was not a subject in Diploma. Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit
  • For 10+2 Candidates: Must be born between 24 June 2006 and 24 June 2010 (both days inclusive).
  • For Pharmacy (Diploma/B.Sc.) Candidates:
    • Unmarried: Must be born between 24 June 2003 and 24 June 2007.
    • Married: Must be born between 24 June 2003 and 24 June 2005.
Marital Status Unmarried Indian/Nepalese male citizens. (Exception for married Pharmacy candidates within the specified age bracket).

Selection Process

The selection is a rigorous, multi-stage process conducted on the same day or subsequent days at the rally site.

  1. Document Verification: All candidates must first produce original documents for verification to prove their eligibility.
  2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who clear document verification will undergo a PFT, which is qualifying in nature.
  3. Written Test: Candidates who qualify in the PFT will appear for an objective-type written test.
  4. Adaptability Test - II: Those who pass the written test will undergo this test to assess their suitability for the Air Force way of life. This is also qualifying.
  5. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear all the above stages will undergo a detailed medical examination by the IAF Medical Team.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Written Test, subject to qualifying all other stages.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Standards
